FAQ’s

1. How do I get started?

Welcome to Studio One Pilates! The first step to getting started is to register online and set up an account with MindBody. Go to www.lincolnpilates.com, click on Login, click on Register and click on Create Account. The next step is to set up your Introductory Private Session.

2. What is an Introductory Private Session?

We require all new clients that have not had prior reformer experience, need a refresher session or have had surgery or a major injury in the last six months to have an introductory private session. During the private session, you will learn the equipment, proper form, any modifications you may need and go over individual fitness goals. At the end of your session, the instructor will be able to let you know which classes would be the best fit for you or your options if you would like to continue with private sessions. Introductory sessions are 45 minutes for $35. To schedule your introductory private session, please call or email the studio to set up your appointment.

3. What do I wear to class?

Please wear comfortable clothes that you can easily move in (think stretchy and snug fitting). You will also need grip socks. Grip socks are for sale at the studio for $12 plus tax.

4. What time do I arrive before class?

On your first visit, please arrive 5 – 10 minutes early to fill out an intake form. Parking can be busy so it is helpful to allow extra time to find parking as well.

5. Is there a new client special?

For brand new clients to the studio we offer new client specials for classes and private sessions: Check out our pricing page for details.

6. Is there an enrollment fee and monthly membership?

No, Studio One Pilates does not have an enrollment fee or monthly membership fee. We are a pay as you go studio. We offer class discounts when purchasing a class pack.

7. Why are there different levels of classes?

We offer classes for clients at every level. We ask that you choose the class that is the appropriate level for you. We want to help those that are just starting out or healing from an injury at a slower pace to keep you safe. And we want to be able to push and create a more intense workout for those seeking a harder workout. Some of the higher level classes do require instructor approval.

8. How do I sign up for a class?

The best way to sign up for classes is online so that you can control your schedule and payment options. Go to www.lincolnpilates.com to sign up. If you need help setting up your account please email us.

9. What if a class is full?

Most of our classes hold a maximum of 7 clients at a time and do fill up frequently. If you are not able to sign up for a class because it is full, we do have a waitlist. You will be notified by email as soon as a spot opens up in the class. We appreciate your confirmation if you can accept the waitlisted spot.

10. What is your cancellation policy?

Due to our small class sizes, you will be charged for cancellations with less than 24 hour notice for missed classes and private sessions. To cancel your class please cancel online, otherwise call or email.
